In addition to oxidation inhibitors, rust preventatives, and anti-foam agents, it is also formulated with sulfur-phosphorus extreme pressure (EP) additives that form a tough oil film on metal surfaces. This enables the lubricant to withstand extreme shock and vibrational loads, while preventing overheating, welding, seizing, and excessive wear on gear surfaces under high pressure.
