●凡在可控氣氛或保護氣氛爐中加熱的工件均可採用PQ220H淬火油進行淬火冷卻，包括密封箱式滲碳、碳氮共滲爐（即多用爐）、連續式滲碳淬火爐、震底式爐、滾動式爐、連續式網帶/履帶輸送、鑄鏈板傳送爐以及真空淬火爐等。井式氣體滲碳爐、流態粒子爐以及鹽浴爐加熱的工件，亦可採用\PQ220H淬火油冷卻。若鹽浴中含有氰化物，應謹慎使用。
●無保護氣氛中加熱的工件也可在PQ220H淬火油中進行淬火冷卻，但要注意定期清理淤集的氧
化皮等。
●PQ220H淬火油廣泛適用於各種中低淬透性鋼，如各種齒輪類、軸類、軸承類、標準件及五金工具類、彈性零件等工件。模具鋼和工具鋼採用PQ220H淬火油進行淬火冷卻亦可獲得理想的性能。
●PQ220H淬火油適合於各種化學熱處理、常規淬火、表面淬火等不同的冷卻要求。
